ABOUT FLY AGARIC

Fly Agaric is run, predominantly, by Ruaraidh Milne BSc Hons MSc. 

Qualified as a wildlife biologist, Ruaraidh has expanded his repertoire into the arena of Circus skills, training in Capoeira around the world, and in other performance arts, predominantly in Scotland, with various groups. Performing with the Beltane Fire Society since 1998 was his first experience of large scale performance and was soon producing and directing as well. Working and performing with the indefatigable tePooka gave him great inspiration, training, experience and passion for the circus arts. He both leads workshops and performs, as well as directing larger group performances.

He has been teaching bushcraft and environmental education for ten years, and training up leaders in for Woodland and Coastal Acitivity Leader Trainings (WALT and CALT) accredited qualifications for 3 years.

Past and present clients include;

Moray Council, Belladrum festival, The Highland Council,  Carbisdale Castle, Glastonbury Festival and the Findhorn Foundation

His passions are Fire, Trapeze, bushcraft and his cat, Zulu, with whom he lives in the North East of Scotland.

He is passionate about the teaching of bushcraft and environmental education for all, including "Forest Schools" "Coastal Classrooms"sessions. He is a fully qualified Forest School leader, as well as holding an Award in Eduation & Teaching (AET/PTTLS) .
